In the north of Morocco, on the coasts of Tangier where the Mediterranean and Atlantic waters converge, you’ll discover a unique city bearing a multicultural heritage.
Stroll the streets of « the White »Tangier, they are lined with lime-coated houses. Just like Delacroix or Matisse did their upon arrival, let yourself be carried away by the dreamy atmosphere that covers the city. At the foot of the high walls of the “Kasbah”, roam through the alleys of the great “Socco”, and admire the fortress that dominates the medina. A little far away, explore the “Sultan’s Palace” which is nowaydays dedicated to the arts of Morocco. Tangier is alsos renowned for the Spanish influence on its culture, starting with the arena that stands on the “Plaza de Torros”, not to mention the “Cervantes” theatre built in 1913.
Today we will drive through the Rif mountains and Tetoun city to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains till we get to Chefchaouan one of the stunning villages in the feet of Rif mountains. Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes where you will spend you night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of the nature.
After tasty breakfast in the riad our journey start towards Volubilis crossing via Ouazan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis we will discover the Roman ruins and we learn about the Moroocan history ,then we will drive to Meknes city (the 17 th century heritage) where we will stop for lunch and we will discover the historical walls of medina ,bab el mansour and we will enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail shrine. Later in the afternoon we head to Fes city where we will spend the night.
Today we will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter,the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.
After breakfast in your hotel we will travel to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality. Afterwards, we will travel along Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud(famous fossils city) and Rissani(with its famous souk). We arrive to Merzouga in the afternoon and you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you start your camel ride to spend a night in the desert camp with Berber music and also sand-boarding.
We wake up early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Erg Chebbi before making our way back to hotel by camels. After breakfast and shower we'll drive through the Saghro mountains and we will take a short walk through Todra Gorge before arriving to Dades Valley for dinner and accommodation. We spent a night in Dades Gorges , in local riad hotel.
After breakfast in the hotel, you will travel through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazate. This route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs. We will visit cinema city of Ouarzazate and also Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-hami El Glaoui (the UNESCO heritage site). Then we will drive across High Atlas mountains and you will enjoy panoramic view and attractive Berber villages along the way till we reach Marrakech where we stay overnight in local hotel.
Today we will start exploring Marrakech " the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest. This include the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palacel. After Lunch at a local restaurant near the famous square, you will walk through the souks and you can also buy souveniers or enjoy art of handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have free time to discover the city by yourself.
Today,depends on your flight , you will be transferred to the airport to attend your flight.
